Praia Fluvial Pego das Pias

É a norte da Freguesia de S.Salvador, entre S.Luís e Odemira que se situa um local de beleza extrema, a Praia Fluvial Pego das Pias.

A origem do nome está nas cavidades circulares da rocha. Estas foram provocadas por redemoinhos que existiam na altura em que o nível das águas era superior ao atual. Essa força associada ao declive da zona deu origem às cavidades que são as chamadas pias.

It is to the north of the Parish of S.Salvador, between St.Luís and Odemira that is located a place of extreme beauty, the Pego das Pias Fluvial Beach.

The origin of the name is in the circular cavities of the rock. These were caused by swirls that existed at a time when the water level was higher than the current one. This force associated with the slope of the zone gave rise to the cavities that are called sinks.

Praia Fluvial de Odivelas

A Zona de Recreio e Lazer da Barragem de Odivelas onde se situa a praia fluvial juntamente com o Parque de Merendas e outras infra-estruturas como o Bar de apoio á praia fluvial é um local a visitar em pleno Alentejo.
