Guarda 

 Praia Fluvial Loriga // Loriga Fluvial Beach

Situa-se no Parque Natural da Serra da Estrela em pleno vale aberto pelo antigo glaciar lá existente. Banhada pela ribeira de Loriga onde a nascente é no planalto da serra. É bastante conhecida pelas suas águas frias e límpidas.

 Há vestígios de relevos  que dão ao local um grande impacto da própria natureza, que permitem a prática de algumas actividades como percursos pedestres ou desportos de natureza.

It is located in the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela in the valley opened by the old glacier there. Bathed by the stream of Loriga where the spring is in the plateau of the mountain range. It is well known for its cold, clear waters.

There are vestiges of reliefs that give the place a great impact of nature itself, which allow the practice of some activities such as walking paths.

Cascata o Poço da Broca 

A Cascata do Poço da Broca é uma queda de água destacada pela sua beleza inigualável. Localiza-se na ribeira de Alvôco, na Aldeia de Barriosa, em Vide. é uma praia fluvial que é conhecida pela sua tranquilidade. Local perfeito para passar um dia bem diferente onde a paisagem encanta, onde as águas são frias e cristalinas, típicas de águas de montanha.

The Cascata do Poço da Broca is a waterfall highlighted by its unparalleled beauty. It is located in the river of Alvôco, in the Village of Barriosa, in Vide. Is a river beach that is known for its tranquility.
Perfect place to spend a very different day where the landscape enchants, where the waters are cold and crystalline, typical of mountain waters.

Praia Fluvial da Devesa

A Praia Fluvial da Devesa situa-se perto do Sabugal, e está separada dos campos agrícolas ali existentes apenas por um simples muro. Conhecida pela sua vasta área é um local bastante apetecível naqueles dias quentes de verão. Ali encontra imensas sombras proporcionadas pelas árvores e o rio onde pode dar vários mergulhos refrescantes.

The Devesa River Beach is located near the Sabugal, and is separated from the
existing only by a single wall. Known for its vast area is a very desirable place on those hot summer days. There there are huge shadows provided by the trees and the river where you can several refreshing dives. 

Castelo Branco

Praia Fluvial de Fróia

A Praia Fluvial de Fróia é um dos ex-libris do concelho de Proença-a-Nova. A água límpida e cristalina das nascentes da ribeira de Fróia, a frescura e a beleza natural do espaço são os principais traços desta praia que tem vindo a merecer diversas distinções, como a reclassificação de Praia Qualidade de Ouro em 2018. A frescura do cenário repleto de árvores e vegetação verdes convida a estender a toalha na zona de areal ou até mesmo no largo passeio. Na zona existem moinhos de xisto  com a companhia de cascatas pequenas e açudes. Zona fluvial indicada para crianças e parque infantil.

The Fluvial Beach of Fróia is one of the ex libris of the municipality of Proença-a-Nova.The clear and crystalline water of the sources of the Ribeira de Fróia, the freshness and the natural beauty of the space are the main features of this beach that has been deserving diverse distinctions, like the reclassification of Beach Quality of Gold in 2018.The freshness of the scenery full of trees and green vegetation invites to extend the towel in the sand area or even on the wide promenade. In the zone there are shale mills with the company of small cascades and weirs. River area suitable for children and playground. 

Praia Fluvial do Pego

A aldeia de Penha Garcia foi construída sobre rochas graníticas estando em contraste com as calçadas de basalto das ruas, onde o rio Ponsul é o anfitrião. Não existe nada melhor que programar um fim de semana diferente e aproveitar o melhor que a natureza tem para nos oferecer. Comece toda esta aventura de manhã bem cedo pelo percurso pedestre Rota dos Fósseis. Exactamente, esta praia fluvial está inserida no Parque Icnológico de Penha Garcia pertencente ao Geopark Naturtejo, geoparque mundial da UNESCO. A presença da magnífica cascata embeleza ainda mais este cenário Após o passeio pela Rota dos Fósseis e mergulhos nas águas da barragem de Penha Garcia visite os velhos moinhos de rodízio. Estes moinhos foram em tempos o maior conjunto de unidades moageiras do concelho estando abertos ao público onde podem ser visitados.

These mills were once the largest set of mills in the county being open to the public where they can be visited.

Praia Fluvial do Paul

A vila do Paul tipicamente serrana, acolhe um fantástico poço, que origina a Praia Fluvial do Paul. Situada na parte sul da Serra da Estrela é banhada pela Ribeira da Caia. Esta Ribeira nasce nas Taliscas e é a fusão da Ribeira das Cortes e Unhais da Serra. Ao descer as colinas da Serra da Estrela, esta água límpida e fria moldou a rocha ao longo dos anos, criando este poço magnífico. No local encontra uma pequena ponte que dá acesso a uma zona de areia e a uma extensa variedade de rochas. Não é uma praia indicada a pessoas com mobilidade reduzida. 

The village of Paul, typically mountainous, hosts a fantastic well, which originates Paul River Beach. Located in the southern part of Serra da Estrela is bathed by Ribeira da Caia. This Ribeira is born in the Taliscas and is the merger of Ribeira das Cortes and Unhais da Serra. When descending the hills of Serra da Estrela, this limpid and cold water has shaped the rock over the years, creating this magnificent well. On the site you will find a small bridge that gives access to a zone of sand and an extensive variety of rocks. It is not a beach suitable for people with reduced mobility.
